Government system of Denebolian Republic
Civilian Reform in Denebol
After many demonstrations, public discussions and formal requests to the government and president himself, the civilian reform has been embraced. New democratic elections has been annouced. SHIELD will no longer directly influence national desicions. New parliament were elected and civilian government will be ruling form in Denebol
Reform also include slight change of nation´s name. From now on our nation´s name is Denebolian Republic.
New government hierarchy is in following order:
- Current president: James Wilson (Active period: 6 years)
- Current vice-president: Anna Mayers (Active period: 6 years)
- Current Prime minister: Henry Rickmann (Active period: 3 years)
- Presidental special advisor: Director Sammuel Coulson
- Current chief of staff: Gen. Mj. George Hammond
- Parliament: 30 members from various parties
All military operations must be approved by president or vice-president in case of president´s absence. The presidental approval is obligation for both military branches - SHIELD and Denebolian Army. For the first time of the history of Denebol, SHIELD director can not intervere with any other institutions other than SHIELD.
Also information embargo will be reduced only for SHIELD properties or sortiment. This slightly changes a all-mighty power of SHIELD directives.
New politic parties has been established:
- SHIELD party (currently 4 members in parliament)
- 3 - 6 members of 30 members in parliament
- politicans within SHIELD organization
- declared as a compromise between SHIELD and civilians
- Freedom party (currently 9 members in parliament)
- no valid limitations
- politics who believe in total freedom not only for people, but also for informations
- they want to cooperate with military and reconsider information embargoes declared by SHIELD
- Totalistic party (currently 2 members in parliament)
- wants to continue with information embargoes and even tight it up
- wants to partially separate from Denebolian accord members and streghten domestic political and economical power
- wants to reduce civilian rights to basic minimum allowed by DA for reinforcing doimestic security.
- Globalistic party (currently 6 members in parliament)
- supports international trade, travel and knowledge sharing policies
- mostly members of G.U.A.R.D.
- they wants to unify or at least unite all republic, empires or monarchies into United republic of planets
- very good and skilled diplomats
- No-party politicans (currently 9 members in parliament)
- politicans who were elected in small regional elections and they are not members of any official political party
Under president, vice-president, presidental advisor and prime minister are acting ministers. IOA still represent oversighting organization which will discuss goals of all Denebolian military operations and ther funding. All military branches are requried to discuss all operations with IOA representer. Ministers are members of any political party, but they are not members of Denebolian parliament.
