Law Enforcement: Enforcing interstellar laws and regulations to maintain order and justice across different civilizations and cultures.

Technological Advancement: Researching and developing advanced technologies to enhance interstellar travel, communication, and defense capabilities.

Diplomacy and Cooperation: Fostering diplomatic relations and cooperation between different species and civilizations to promote peace and stability in the galaxy.

Counterintelligence: Identifying and neutralizing threats posed by hostile factions, espionage, or infiltration to protect the integrity and security of member civilizations.

Training and Education: Providing training programs and educational resources to empower individuals and organizations with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute effectively to interstellar security and defense.

Recent history:

After an civilian reform in Denebolian republic and dividing SHIELD and National Armed Forces, SHIELD Air & Space Forces and SHIELD special units were merged into one military system - SHIELD Armed Forces.

For air and interstellar travel SHIELD uses two types of spacecraft. Small assault spacecraft Quinjet class and mobile command spacecraft Zephyr class. Also as sign of thanks from DASF, two battle-carriers of Odyssey class was builded for SHIELD. After all, every kind of technology in all DASF spacecraft was invented by SHIELD.

Currently, SHIELD takes place as an itelligence and diplomacy service (with G.U.A.R.D. cooperation). SHIELD control homeland and foreign security. SHIELD also leads Denebolian science research. SHIELD technology and knowledge developement helps Denebolian republic to prosper not only at homeworld, but also in outer space. 

About S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents:

SHIELD Agents are trained at SHIELD Academy currently located north outside of Denebol Prime. Academy takes 4 years to complete. There are three training programs on Academy - Operations, Science and Communication program. After 4 years training, cadets are promoted to level 1 agents. From this point agents will be assigned to different posts due to their results during training.

SHIELD mobile command spacecrafts are commanded only by level 9 agents. SHIELD special units serves as replacement for any kind of army. SHIELD agents are weill trained and they are prepared to fight against any danger.

SHIELD agents are equpped with most advanced defensive and offensive technology avaiable for Denebolian republic. Our agents are also well trained in infiltration, military tactics, investigation, interrogation, torture resistance and spacecraft operation. SHIELD special units are teams of level 4 agents minimum. SHIELD special units are divided into several subdivisions, according to their specializations and purposes. Each one of SHIELD special forces is commanded by Commanding officer, usually level 8 Agent. Commanding officer is following orders from director of SHIELD.

National Secrets

The Denebolian State Secrets Protection Act (DSSPA) establishes SHIELD's absolute authority over the management, classification, and enforcement of state secrets, both domestically and internationally. SHIELD Directives ensure that Denebolian Accord members, allies, and trade partners are fully compliant with the national security interests of the Denebolian Republic, maintaining strict protocols for handling classified information. 

SHIELD Agents are fully authorized to act based on the informations avaiable to them and including national secrets and also use this information in their favor, However, agents must always act in accordance of their orders and in the organization's interest or nation's interest. Mission orders and intelligence is highly classified and agents are ordered not to share them with anyone, unless the situation requires it.

SHIELD Command staff and administrations are housed at SHIELD Triskelion in Denebol Prime. SHIELD usually operates at need to know basis, in cooperation and even internally. Noone tells everything if noone knows everything. 

SHIELD operations are highly classified and agents are often assigned as scientific and intelligence advisor on STARS missions. It is also unwritten rule that every STARS spaceship has its own SHIELD consultant. 

SHIELD agents have to be in contact with SHIELD command at any time, if it is avaiable. If agent has no means of communication wih SHIELD command, agent is authorized to make neccessary decisions to survive or help to survive fellow Denebolians, if they are present. But even as they are part of spaceship crew, they do not take orders from STARS officers, they are advised to cooperate, but are not ordered to.

SHIELD agents are sometimes also trusted with national secrets and crucial informations, which they are prohibited to share.

SHIELD Directives are international, binding regulations issued by SHIELD to safeguard the national security of the Denebolian Republic. These directives are mandatory for all Denebolian Accord members, as well as non-Accord allies and trade partners, ensuring strict compliance in handling Denebolian classified information, international trade, basic rights, and more.
